I was thinking more of a publication with a list in it.

Fluvial publish Le Guide du Plaisancier each spring. Might still be available on the website.

You can download the DBA Waterways Guide in pdf form for printing!

The Fluvial guide is excellent but is largely about marinas - which are mostly aimed at smaller boats and charge for mooring - rather than the pleasant free moorings along the canals. It does include the official (free) Haltes Fluvial.

It's a fairly good guide too. You have to take some of the listings
with a bit of a pinch of salt but at least it's a pretty full list of
all the 'proper marina' type places you can moor. It's certainly a
good staring point for setting up a drive around tour to actually look
at possibles.

The Fluvial Guide (advertised in Blue Flag) includes numerous Gratis moorings in their listings as well as marinas. I use it frequently (as well as the DBA guides which include many places only suitable for large vessels where access to the outside world is not a priority!) for overnight moorings, but more particularly when I'm looking for somewhere to leave the boat for a quick trip home where security and car access becomes more important.

Just what I said, immediately after the line Peter quotes!

The Waterways Guide includes moorings for large and small boats as DBA members are about 50-50 above and below 20m - but is certainly more valuable to large boats, which are not so well served by the Fluvial guide. Both should be useful to all members (in France!).
