Claes Compaen is for sale and has attracted several enquiries, but the latest seems not quite kosher (see below).
I noted that the link was to a site set up just 5 days ago!

"Hi Chris,

Please confirm me the price and the hours.
I have money available 100% to buy your boat but I'm only asking. I hope you don't mind.

I also have a boat for sale. What I have in mind is 80% money and the rest 20% to trade my boat.
I'm selling below market price.

I will share with you the details about my boat (original invoice, service, pictures, video).
You have all the details on the link below:

http://google-sharepdf.com/documents

Please check the information and let me know if you are interested.

In any case I will buy your boat.

Thanks,
James

No.

Almost certainly a scam and/or money laundering. The Canal World forum has had a spate of these in connection with narrowboat sales.

When I tried to look at the web site below I got a warning from my
protective software that they thought this was a 'phishing' web site so
beware!

Hi James

Suggest you beware of clicking on 'unknown' links unless you likedebugging your PC :)

No.

Opened on BlackBerry. Definitely a scam. Google docs link asked me to log in using email, so will phish account as well.

Send original email to London Police -
phishing-sGQYl6inYllUF+***@public.gmane.org

Although you could have some fun and string him along for a while and waste his time. Ask for his boat details as a pdf attachment.
