HI all

Having had an offer accepted on her preferred barge, the boss is now looking to arrange delivery of her sailing barge once the survey, purchase etc is complete. Has anyone had experience of using a Jethro Friggens aka, EU Yacht Delivery services or JF Marine?

Many thanks
Ian

Hi. Cross channel very different to inside Europe..Old barge = rubbish in diesel tanks = endless blocked filters = tow in by lifeboat. Solution: 45 gallon drums strapped on deck full of lovely clean diesel plumbed straight into tank. As to his nav/weather skills find out if he has done it before. C

Don't you mean plumbed straight into the fuel filters?
Also, don't forget the unused diesel return pipe from the engine should also be re-directed back into the 45 gallon drum.
I experimented with a 20L can straight into the filters this year. After 1 hour, instead of around 3L, I found the can to actually be about 12L lighter.
The 9L difference had all gone via the diesel return pipe to my main tank.
