Hi, I need to get my new barge put on the part one register. There is a company I think in hull or on the northeast coast that organizes this at a reasonable price. Being over 24 m it cannot go on the small ships register. Unfortunately I cannot remember it's name. Does anyone have any idea. Many thanks. C

The company that the Bank who prepared the Marine Mortgage for me, used British Marine Registration Services. Don't know if they exist now. Do you need to get a Tonnage Certificate ?

Hi Charles,
They are called Shiptech http://www.shiptech.co.uk/index2.html.
Just be aware that when they did our tonnage survey, they said the boat had to be out of the water, which I believe is incorrect.
