Search the Euroweb site ,we use this software,& its infinatly more useful than PC Navigo. As it has town plans, fuel stations( useful in France) & all the POI's you get on a road sat nav.

Simon - Do you use it for France or UK? What price is it - not shown on their website http://www.eureauweb.com/ I don't want to complete the Contact Us form as I'll be getting junk from them for the next 5 years!

Thanks

Peter,

Click on 'Water-way' on the left of the web-page. A drop- down gives the prices of UK and French versions.

£155 for France.

Prices are on their web site at
http://www.eureauweb.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=40&Itemid=75
and there's more about it at

Tim's being a little hopeful about AIS! It's a pretty basic waterway sat-nav with plenty of Points of Interest.. Not really comparable with Navigo in terms of planning (as the reviews note) or, I suspect, as powerful for waterway information (lock operating times, phone/VHF, stoppages, etc).

Thanks Pete - it looks to be more financially supported by the businesses they are appealing to for inclusion on their maps - not a good sign, specially if it's the kebab shops and MacDonalds that ask for inclusion as "restaurants"!

It's much cheaper than Navigo, but coverage is much less - I guess if they extend to all the countries that Navigo covers, the cost will be far more than Navigo.

Has anyone independantly reviewed it with comparisons to Navigo I wonder?

Peter
