Is there an art to painting upside down? Or some tips? I got paint today in my hair and face. It also keeps wanting to run down my arm rather than stay on the brush. Perhaps if I tie the brush to a long stick it will help.
Two tips I offer for mixing 2 part paint:
1) do it by weight not volume, weight is much easier to measure accurately, simply use digital kitchen scales. You need to establish the specific gravity of each component in order to devise the weight mixing ratio. For Jotamastic 90 Alu it is 5.5A to 1B by weight instead of 3.5A to 1B by volume, the A component being 58% denser than the B.
2) punch two holes in the can sides near the top with a centre punch, a small one to let the air in and a larger one on the opposite side to pour the paint through. Then the paint can be easily, safely and accurately poured without removing the lid (once stirred well) . When finished seal the holes with duct tape. I wish now I had bought the 20l cans instead of lots of 5l ones.
