Moorings in Antwerp

Thank you for the steer to Willemdok. It appears their costs are quite astronomical at around EUR 3000 per month. Probably well beyond our capability if we wanted to live in Antwerp.

If we weren't too fussed about living in the centre of the city, are there other areas which are popular with barges which won't require me to sell a kidney in order to moor? Can you purchase a mooring or are they all rental?

worth following up? Google maps gives you a good idea of what it looks like - just NE of Willemdok.
